Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team at Farnsworth Group. As an expert in advanced manufacturing, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and control systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and control systems for advanced manufacturing and semiconductor projects
  • Collaborate with process and mechanical engineers to develop PFDs and P&IDs
  • Prepare complete and accurate electrical and control system construction drawings and specifications
  • Develop control system architecture and network drawings
  • Manage project design budgets, work breakdown structures, schedules, and execution plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Process, or Architectural Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical and control system design, including schematics, control panel layouts, and power distribution
  • Experience in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, clean room, water treatment, or life sciences is a plus
  • Strong technical proficiency in designing automation solutions with PLC and DCS platforms
  • Application knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes is desired
