Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Child Psychiatrist to join our Pediatric Inpatient team in Bangor, Maine. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead an interdisciplinary team and provide psychiatric care to children in a state-of-the-art facility.

About the Role

  • Lead an interdisciplinary team responsible for providing psychiatric care and teaching on the pediatric inpatient service at NL Acadia Hospital
  • Participate in teaching/lecturing opportunities with our Adult Psychiatry Residency Program
  • Become eligible for a clinical faculty position at the University of New England School of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Work full-time, Monday-Friday schedule

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the diagnostic process and formulate treatment plans
  2. Initiate treatment interventions and provide follow-up evaluations
  3. Lead interdisciplinary team meetings
