Northern Light Health is seeking a highly skilled Child Psychiatrist to join our dynamic Outpatient team in Bangor, Maine. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to lead an interdisciplinary team providing top-notch psychiatric care to children and adolescents throughout the state.

The ideal candidate will possess solid clinical and leadership skills, with expertise in diagnostic evaluations, treatment interventions, and follow-up care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced psychiatrists, PMHNPs, RNs, and MAs who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an interdisciplinary team responsible for providing psychiatric care for children and adolescents referred to our outpatient program
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, annual re-evaluations, recommend and initiate treatment interventions, and provide follow-up care as needed
  • Possess strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in child psychiatry, staying current with the latest research and developments in the field
