Job Summary: Iberia Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and nutrition education to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Develop Patient Care Plans: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Provide Nutrition Education: Deliver high-quality nutrition education to patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition and healthcare.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensure as a Registered Dietitian in the state of Louisiana.
