Role Responsibilities

- Develop and simulate cutting-edge algorithms for physical layer wireless communication.
- Create system models and conduct thorough performance evaluations to facilitate performance validation and support RTL development.
- Collaborate effectively with digital design engineers and firmware developers to implement algorithms that prioritize power efficiency and area optimization.

Essential Qualifications
  • Extensive expertise in wireless communication systems, complemented by practical experience in laboratory testing and characterization.
  • Profound understanding of communication system principles and signal processing, crucial for designing algorithms related to timing recovery, filter design, signal estimation and detection, automatic gain control, RF impairments estimation and correction, channel estimation, equalization, forward-error correction, OFDM, and MIMO detection.
  • Proficiency in Matlab, C/C++, and/or Python for algorithm development, modeling (both floating-point and fixed-point), and link-level simulation.
  • Familiarity with low power algorithm design and High Level Synthesis (HLS) for applications where power efficiency is critical.
  • Experience in chip bring-up processes, utilizing laboratory equipment such as protocol test equipment, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
  • Knowledge of cellular communication standards, including 5GNR and 4G LTE.
  • Strong analytical capabilities in areas such as linear algebra, random processes, detection, and estimation.
Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience.
