We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Vascular Surgery team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a compassionate and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered, and apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, and administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients, and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
