Job Title: Control System Specialist

Veolia North America is seeking a highly skilled Control System Specialist to join our team in Delaware. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems for our water and wastewater treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and translate business requirements into technical specifications for SCADA systems
  • Oversee SCADA vendors during implementation of the SCADA Utility Masterplan
  • Provide ongoing support for all aspects of the DE SCADA system
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related SCADA/electrical experience of 4+ years
  • Experience in a Utility or Water and Wastewater plants and networks a plus
  • Knowledge of popular SCADA packages such as ClearSCADA, GE Proficy, Wonderware, etc. desired
  • PLC programming experience, RTU experience, and/or HMI Experience
  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple priorities
  • TCP/IP networking knowledge required
  • Strong knowledge of general SCADA project management and technologies
  • Ability to interface with all levels of staff and management
  • Skills in working alongside contractors and consultants
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in both written and oral formats
  • Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
