School Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a School Psychologist - High Needs Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive psychological services to students with significant needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and needs.
- Develop Individualized Plans: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Provide Counseling Services: Provide individual and group counseling to address students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective interventions and support systems.
- Participate in MTSS: Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to ensure all students receive appropriate academic and social-emotional support.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology and implement research-based interventions.
- Master's or Doctoral Degree: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid North Carolina License: Valid North Carolina license as a School Psychologist II or III.
- Experience Working with High Needs Students: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with high needs students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong Assessment, Counseling, and Consultation Skills: Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and manage a high caseload.
