Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Psychologist to join our team at Birchwood School. As a key member of our staff, you will provide psychological services to youth involved with our organization, including evaluation and consultation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of youth, including clinical interviews and record reviews
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests and measures
  • Prepare reports and provide expert testimony in court as needed
  • Participate in treatment planning and interagency staffing
  • Consult with staff regarding youth with special needs
Requirements
  • Doctorate in applied psychology from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in applied psychology, including assessment and treatment of youth
  • Current licensure to practice psychology in the state of South Carolina or eligibility within two years
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with youth, families, and staff
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in applied psychology from an APA-approved program
  • Experience in forensic psychology and court testimony
