Job Overview:
As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the production environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring a safe and sanitary workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with maintenance staff and fellow sanitation team members to dismantle production lines and equipment for thorough cleaning.
2. Disassemble and reassemble production machinery as required for sanitation purposes.
3. Ensure floors are free of debris and conduct thorough rinsing.
4. Clean air lines and hoses associated with production processes.
5. Remove and replace equipment to facilitate production setup.
6. Sanitize production equipment in preparation for maintenance and production teams.
7. Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including chemical rooms, process floors, and restrooms.
8. Clean and sanitize various equipment as directed by the Sanitation lead.
9. Attend to wash buckets, trash receptacles, handrails, and other equipment until the end of the shift.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Previous experience in a production environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
