Clinical Social Worker

The BHC Social Worker is a vital member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, providing outpatient clinical and social work services to patients in need. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy sessions, and participating in treatment planning. Your expertise in community resources, insurance, and regulatory issues will be invaluable in ensuring the best possible care for our patients.
Requirements:- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Three to five years of experience in LICSW social work, with a focus on psychotherapy, medical crisis intervention, and solution-focused therapy.
- Experience working with adults with acute mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
- Managed-care experience is a plus.
- Licensed by the State of Vermont as a Clinical Social Worker.
- Knowledge of NASW code of conduct principles, psychosocial assessments, utilization and case management principles, and community resources.
- Experience with CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, as well as evidence-based practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
