This role will collaborate closely with the Director of Practice Innovation, focusing on the management and coordination of a diverse portfolio of global innovation projects aimed at enhancing practice efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Director of Practice Innovation in executing the global strategy for practice innovation, AI integration, and knowledge management. This includes fostering awareness and participation in innovation initiatives and managing the project portfolio effectively.
• Engage with the global IDEA Group to support its project portfolio by actively participating in meetings and providing updates on project progress.
• Identify and implement opportunities for practice enhancement and innovation in collaboration with key stakeholders. This may involve:
- Collaborating with the AI Solutions Group and the global IDEA Group to advance initiatives;
- Coordinating multiple cross-functional legal innovation projects;
- Utilizing data analytics to assess business needs and uncover insights;
- Conducting market scans to identify relevant technological solutions;
- Designing and generating legal data reports to inform practice innovation decisions;
- Facilitating design sprints and hackathons to promote innovative thinking;
- Mapping processes to identify and implement improvements.
• Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, documentation, status reporting, and evaluation of completed projects. Ensure clear and consistent communication with all relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical role within a law firm or professional services environment, focusing on project management, legal technology, or innovation.
• Proven ability to coordinate and support both large and small-scale projects, preferably on a global scale.
• Educational background in project management, change management, design thinking, or knowledge management is preferred.
• Familiarity with legal technology applications and a keen interest in AI solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams.
