The Financial Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily monetary functions of the organization. This position collaborates closely with the Executive Leadership, Certified Public Accountant, and Operations Vice President to implement financial strategies established in partnership with the Board of Directors to maintain the fiscal health of the association.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounting and reporting processes for the association, including but not limited to:
- Effectively manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct annual membership dues billing from initiation to final reconciliation.
- Forward new member dues to state and national associations.
- Complete necessary reporting promptly.
- Maintain precise general ledger records.
- Generate monthly financial reports as dictated by established policies and procedures.
- Manage required information for RPAC investments, prepare reports and checks for state and national associations, and submit necessary information to relevant entities in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison with the property manager of investment properties to ensure accurate reporting and effective management.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies to ensure smooth operations and efficiency in the office.
- Ensure compliance with financial solvency criteria as per NAR's Core Standards within the financial policies and recommend amendments as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison to the Financial Audit and Financial Investment Committees and other workgroups related to the financial objectives of the association.
- Ensure the achievement of specified goals within the strategic plan in areas of assigned responsibility.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to members consistently exceeding industry standards.
- Manage both internal and external relations with all members and industry contacts.

Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance with 3 to 5 years of relevant business experience in accounting.
- Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in modern technology, including accounting software, membership database management, and Microsoft Office 365.
