Oakley, a leading brand in performance sports, is seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. As an ambassador for Oakley, you will educate and inspire customers to elevate their performance on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a personalized experience for each customer.
  • Demonstrate superior product knowledge and accurately describe the features and benefits of various lenses and frames.
  • Act as a leader in optical operations and work with Store Management to drive growth opportunities for Rx expansion.
  • Foster a culture of learning and expertise among team members.
  • Engage with the local community to attract new customers and build relationships.
  • Anticipate and resolve customer issues, ensuring satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  • Perform work accurately and thoroughly, utilizing technology to troubleshoot issues.
  • Support daily Retail Operational functions and maintain store appearance.

Requirements:

  • Current State Optician License
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
  • 1+ years of retail sales experience
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to open and/or close the store
  • Strong communication skills and relationship building skills
  • Ability to be on your feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stock room
  • Ability to maneuver merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Optical dispensing experience
