Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct patient education and provide support to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a CoARC accredited program in respiratory care with an Associates Degree required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required and licensed by the State of New York or practicing under limited permit as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • BLS/CPR Certification within orientation period.
