Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Travel

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Syracuse, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist with Trinity Health FirstChoice, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings, including critical care, NICU, and pulmonary function testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a wide range of cardiopulmonary conditions, including respiratory failure, pneumonia, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers.
  • Perform pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in patient education and counseling to promote healthy lung function and disease management.
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory care, with a focus on critical care, NICU, or pulmonary function testing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
