Overview:

The Assistant Manager operates under the guidance of the General Manager to uphold the Company's standards for product quality and customer service.

Through these responsibilities, the Assistant Manager is expected to cultivate the skills necessary to advance to the General Manager position.


Core Responsibilities:

Ensures high-quality products are delivered to customers by verifying that each item meets Papa John's standards and accurately reflects customer orders.

Communicates, trains, and reinforces quality standards to team members using available resources such as the Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook.

Advises the General Manager on performance-related matters concerning team members. Promotes a customer-centric atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, energy, and enjoyment.

Achieves sales targets by delivering prompt and friendly customer service; enhances check averages through effective product training and sales strategies.

Manages financial objectives by ensuring food, labor, and other controllable expenses remain within budget, addressing any discrepancies through the effective use of the PROFIT System.

Handles administrative tasks and cash management responsibilities.
Plans and maintains appropriate inventory levels using the restaurant's computerized inventory system to meet sales demands and minimize losses.

Safeguards the company's assets by ensuring the restaurant is clean, well-equipped, and that all equipment functions properly; maintains safety and security standards consistently.
