Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibits proficient technical and patient care skills by effectively executing CT imaging protocols and procedures in Diagnostic CT.
  • Ensures patient comfort and care during their visit to the CT department, adhering to service excellence standards.
  • Utilizes administrative capabilities to support the efficient functioning of the department.
  • Collaborates promptly and effectively with colleagues and staff.
  • Fosters positive relationships with patients and team members.
  • Complies with hospital CT safety protocols.
  • Takes initiative for personal development and encourages a culture of learning.
  • Provides age-appropriate care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Works collaboratively with team members while maintaining a positive demeanor.
Additional Duties:
  • Performs other assigned tasks as necessary.
  • Adheres to all organizational policies and standards.
  • For specific roles and responsibilities, refer to departmental documentation provided during orientation.
  • Must comply with all regulations to securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies are in place to guide appropriate PHI usage in the workplace.
Shift Differential: $2.25/hr

Work Schedule: Third Shift - Monday to Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. 36 hours per week.

Qualifications:
Education:
  • Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year as a radiologic technologist (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Proficient in operating a variety of equipment specific to the field, including CT scanners, power injectors, and various computer systems. (Required proficiency)
  • Experienced in managing and retrieving patient information for care. (Required proficiency)
  • Capable of performing procedures specific to the area. (Required proficiency)
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (Required)
  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) and current Ohio license (Required)
  • CT Certification within one year (Required)
  • Current Ohio license (Required)
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Rarely sitting
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional climbing and balancing
  • Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and handling
  • Constantly feeling, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions
  • Constant coordination of eye, hand, and foot
