Key Responsibilities
- Exhibits proficient patient and technical imaging capabilities by executing a range of radiological procedures while upholding the highest standards of patient care.
- Adheres consistently to hospital and departmental protocols for patient identification and safety.
- Maintains necessary licensure and engages in ongoing educational development.
- Ensures competency in skill levels for patient imaging examinations.
- Delivers age-appropriate care to patients spanning from neonates to the elderly.
Additional Duties
- Undertakes other responsibilities as assigned.
- Follows all policies and standards diligently.
- For detailed duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided during orientation.
- Must comply with all regulations to securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies are established to guide appropriate PHI usage in the workplace.
- Associate's Degree (Mandatory) or
- Completion of an accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology with appropriate Certification. (Mandatory)
- Comprehensive understanding of x-ray equipment (both digital and analog), image printers, computers, PACS, and radiology information systems. (Required proficiency)
- Must exhibit strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills along with excellent customer service abilities. (Required proficiency)
- Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R) (Mandatory) and
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire (Mandatory)
- State licensure in Ohio (Mandatory)
