Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency and meeting client expectations. Your duties will include conducting site evaluations, providing hands-on leadership, and offering expertise in soil management, planting techniques, irrigation, and pest control. Additionally, you will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, training staff with a strong focus on safety protocols, managing schedules, and reviewing operational reports.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Overseeing the tree care service operations of the crew, ensuring all members are equipped with necessary safety gear, training, and tools to perform their tasks safely.
  • Managing and reviewing crew schedules to optimize workflow.
  • Conducting daily pre-trip inspections for all Class B vehicles before deployment.
  • Coordinating effectively with branch management, clients, and team members as required.
  • Utilizing tree and landscaping tools and operating heavy machinery as necessary.
  • Safely transporting crews to job sites while adhering to company safety standards and ensuring public safety.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • CDL Class B license.
  • Experience in managing a crew of climbers and ground personnel or similar services.
  • Proven supervisory experience.
  • Possession of a medical card and first aid/CPR certification at the time of hire.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with landscaping techniques and equipment.
  • Physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including adverse weather conditions, heavy lifting, and extensive walking.
