Job Details We are looking for an experienced and talented Control Systems Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic workforce. This is a permanent, full-time position that demands a thorough understanding of various control systems and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will be tasked with maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as working with Allen Bradley, Ladder Logic, and DCS. Additionally, the individual should possess the capability to construct electronic transmitter test fixtures. This position presents an excellent opportunity for those eager to apply their technical expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment. Responsibilities
  • Inspect, test, adjust, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems utilized to indicate, record, and control generating operations in a power facility.
  • Calibrate instrument readings according to standards and adjust phasing and align stages to ensure precision.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, utilizing test equipment.
  • Operate and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Work with Allen Bradley, Ladder Logic, and DCS systems, ensuring their seamless operation and addressing any necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Construct electronic transmitter test fixtures as required.
  • Conduct regular inspections of systems and equipment to guarantee optimal operation and safety.
  • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Control Systems Specialist or in a similar capacity.
  • Proven experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, Allen Bradley, Ladder Logic, and DCS.
  • Demonstrated ability to construct electronic transmitter test fixtures.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems, as well as computer diagnostics and systems integration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong commitment to safety and operational guidelines.
  • Relevant certification or degree is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in performing tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Must be willing to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
