We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Roane Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and nursing staff in preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Competently perform a variety of surgical procedures, including complex cases, with or without assistance.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Current and active national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
