We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Maintenance Specialist to join our team at BorgWarner. As an Automation Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resources to manufacturing and engineering processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot automated equipment failures and determine necessary upgrades/repairs
- Read and understand equipment manuals and electrical schematics
- Document activities and results of work
- Collaborate with Engineers to develop and improve equipment and controls
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Provide support for troubleshooting robot issues on the production line
- Adhere to safety protocols while servicing equipment
- Other related duties as assigned
- Completed vocational training in Automation, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of three years of related experience
- Experience with maintenance and automated systems
- Working knowledge of tools and devices
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with handling/movement of robots and troubleshooting controls circuitry
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours and under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
