Aircraft Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at the U.S. Army Military District of Washington. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks on single rotor helicopters powered by turbine engines.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections on rotary wing aircraft and systems to identify potential issues and ensure safe operation.
- Perform post-flight inspections to identify and correct any issues that may have arisen during flight.
- Adjust oil and fuel pressure, flight controls, power controls, and engine trim to ensure optimal performance.
- Use diagnostic and test equipment to identify and repair malfunctions of systems, subsystems, major assemblies, and components.
- Perform functional tests to ensure proper operation of aircraft.
- Broad experience with various types of rotary wing aircraft to correct malfunctions of systems, subsystems, major assemblies, and components.
- Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, and blueprints to perform maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
