Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will work closely with individuals with brain injuries, providing personalized support and care in a homelike community setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work one-on-one with adults with brain injury diagnosis, providing emotional and practical support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with families, involving them in the therapeutic process and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Work closely with Program Managers, Nursing Team, and Behavioral team members to ensure treatment plans are effective and meet participant needs.
  • Deliver therapeutic supervision to participants and families during treatment and education activities.
  • Document behavioral progress notes and collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • Behavioral caregiver experience (preferred) but not required.
  • High school diploma.
  • Valid/clean driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • A good attitude with the ability to work both within a team and independently.
  • A caring and compassionate mind.
