We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at RESTOREME MH BH SERVICES LLC. As a Qualified Paraprofessional in Mental Health, you will play a vital role in providing direct support services to individuals with mental illness diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Support Services: Foster the development of new and improved coping skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills in the community setting.
  • Training and Education: Provide training to individuals in support of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) services within the community setting.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all information required by the Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (DBHDS).
  • Client Advocacy: Provide advocacy and support for clients, linking them to community-based services and support as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with referring agencies, other agencies involved in client care, and clinical staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervision and Training: Participate in individual and monthly group supervision sessions, attend staff meetings, and engage in skill training and updates.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree in a related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling) and at least one year of experience providing direct services to individuals with mental illness diagnoses.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in documentation and reporting.
  • Driver's License and Vehicle: Possess a valid driver's license with a current inspection and vehicle auto insurance, and maintain a safe and acceptable driving record.
