Job Title: Staff Engineer RF Microwave Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer RF Microwave Design to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave antenna systems and/or related RF hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RF and microwave antenna systems and related RF hardware
  • Test and validate RF and microwave antenna systems and related RF hardware
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF and microwave antenna systems and related RF hardware into larger systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in RF and microwave technology
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 14 years of experience, or Master's degree with 12 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 9 years of experience
  • Proven experience in RF and microwave antenna systems design and development
  • Strong understanding of RF and microwave principles and theories
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience with MATLAB and other software tools
  • Familiarity with firmware development and digital systems
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies
