The Business Solutions Engineering (BSE) team is in search of a Facilities Infrastructure Engineer to support and oversee the Naval Reactor Facility's (NRF) infrastructure, with a particular focus on space management and compliance with Department of Energy (DOE) facilities reporting regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initiatives to manage NRF's industrial and office spaces effectively.
  • Assist in the administration of NRF's Facility Information Management System (FIMS) and Facility Condition Assessment Program (FCAP).
  • Contribute to the management of NRF's sustainability initiatives.
  • Support the drafting of tasks for subcontractors responsible for building maintenance.

The BSE unit is also responsible for overseeing NRF's service subcontracts and collaborating with the Building Information Modeling team. This role will involve working closely with these teams to achieve objectives related to space management, FIMS, FCAP, and sustainability.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science-related field with 4 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in a similar field with 2 years of relevant experience; or equivalent qualifications in the Nuclear Operations Program.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required, along with familiarity with the current International Building Code and applicable mechanical or civil skills.
