Job Summary
In the role of Academic Mentor for Migratory Youth, you will provide high-quality educational support services to migratory children and youth ages 3-21 in Massachusetts. As a member of the Collaborative for Educational Services team, you will work closely with bilingual instructors to deliver academic and summer programs tailored to the needs of this unique population.

About the Role
This part-time position (4-20 hours/week) requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, to accommodate program needs. You will be responsible for establishing key learning objectives, planning student sessions, and adapting instruction to meet the abilities, needs, and interests of students. Your ability to communicate effectively with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish key learning objectives and plan for student sessions
- Review and organize materials before sessions
- Offer individual and small group instruction
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Adapt objectives and plans to accommodate students' abilities, needs, and interests
- Track and record attendance and participation
- Communicate with assigned families/students and supervisor as required

Requirements
- Access to a reliable and insured vehicle
- One year of teaching experience in an informal or formal setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Ability to pass a CORI screening
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings

Salary and Benefits
