Our commercial vehicle operators are known for their reliability and professionalism, representing Helena with courtesy on the road and at our operational facilities. It is essential for our drivers to exercise tact and diplomacy in all interactions with customers, fellow team members, and leadership.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aids in the loading of the trailer with necessary materials.
  • Unloads the trailer utilizing a forklift or hand truck.
  • Transports loads along designated routes to appropriate destinations.
  • Secures shipping documentation and required signatures.
  • Returns completed documentation to the shipping department.
  • Removes empty pallets from the trailer and transports them to the designated storage area.
  • Conducts routine service tasks such as checking oil, water, fuel levels, and tire pressure daily.
  • Performs additional job-related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is expected.

  • Temporary employees may participate in Helena's 401(k) Savings Plan, with a 100% match on employee contributions based on contribution rate and tenure with Helena. A 3-year vesting period applies to the company match after 1,000 hours of service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Hazmat endorsement preferred
  • Tanker endorsement preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old to comply with CDL regulations
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening and background investigation
