Colorado State University is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our Counseling and Career Development faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses, conducting research, and providing clinical supervision to students in the Counseling and Career Development program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach face-to-face graduate-level courses in the Counseling and Career Development program
  • Conduct research and advance scholarship in the field of counseling and counselor education
  • Provide clinical supervision to students in the Counseling and Career Development program
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of the Counseling and Career Development program
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision or a related field from a CACREP-accredited program
  • Colorado Professional Counseling licensure or licensure-eligible
  • Experience with graduate teaching and clinical supervision
  • Commitment to using emerging technology in teaching, research, and service
  • Demonstrated professional commitment to working with diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in consultation and collaboration within PK-12 school settings and/or education communities
  • Record of, or demonstrated potential for, successful external grant seeking and acquisition
  • Familiarity with the CACREP-accreditation process and experience in aligning curriculum to CACREP accreditation standards
