Truck Equipment Mechanic

**About the Role**
We are a leading truck outfitting and customization shop based in Madison, Wisconsin, seeking an experienced Truck Equipment Mechanic/Welder to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for performing both mechanic work on large trucks and welding and fabrication tasks.
**Job Summary**
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months. You will work on-site in a fully equipped workshop environment, conducting assembly jobs, installing hydraulic systems, and performing various other mechanical tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical wiring skills, experience with hydraulic systems, and the ability to perform precision welding and fabrication.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conducting daily maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles
- Installing hydraulic systems, including valves, hoses, and pumps
- Performing precision welding and fabrication tasks
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results

**Compensation**
