As a Research Perception Scientist, you will be part of a team that develops cutting-edge solutions for industrial automation using computer vision and machine learning.
About the Role
You will work on researching new algorithms and developing innovative technologies that will launch advanced features for our Bright Robotic Cells. Your primary job will be to design, develop, and deliver solutions using state-of-the-art algorithms, leveraging research from academia and industry. You will have opportunities to collaborate with other scientists, attend conferences, and participate in brainstorming sessions.
What You Will Be Doing
* Research and develop advanced software technologies in robotics, 3D reconstruction, structure from motion, calibration, large-scale optimization, machine perception, and deep learning* Analyze and improve the performance, accuracy, and robustness of our current solutions* Communicate with other scientists and stakeholders, contributing to publications and patents
What We Want To See
* Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with exceptional ability* 1-5 years of relevant experience in research and development* Programming language skills in C/C++, Python, and experience with statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and machine learning frameworks* Strong publication record in top-tier conferences like CVPR, ECCV/ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICRA, IROS, and SIGGRAPH* Excellent communication and collaboration skills* Estimated salary: $190,000 - $230,000 per year
