River City Construction is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support construction efforts and work collaboratively with other company departments to carry projects through carefully planned preconstruction efforts for on-time delivery and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management Support: Provide discipline to contribute to a highly functioning team dynamic while working collaboratively with Project Managers, regardless of operating region, the Field Operations Department, and the RCC Leadership Team.
  • Project Team: Utilize the latest technology to improve communication, document control, and quality. Work with onsite Client Representatives to coordinate project details while ensuring superior quality and working collaboratively with onsite construction superintendents, Project Managers, and skilled trades.
  • Field Project Focus: Resolve field construction problems in coordination with onsite agencies. Attend progress meetings, develop status reports, and deliver presentations to make recommended policy and procedure improvements. Work to resolve claims, suggest ways to mitigate impacts, and develop workarounds while maintaining project schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
Requirements
  • 0-4+ years of experience desired
  • 4-year degree preferred
  • Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar field is ideal
  • Strong organizational skills, good time management, professionalism, and ability to work well with others. Sense of selflessness, humility, and enterprise-first mentality, emotional and social intelligence
  • Certifications/Licenses
  • Required: OSHA 10
