POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the supervision of the Service Manager, you will engage in the maintenance and repair of security systems across various environments, including financial institutions, commercial properties, and residential areas. Your role will encompass a range of systems such as alarm systems, ATM security, industrial gates, and fire safety alarms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose equipment failures and execute repairs or replacements of faulty components using your expertise in equipment functionality.
  • Utilize hand tools to remove and install defective electronic, electrical, and mechanical parts, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct tests and operate systems to verify that repairs have been successfully implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Follow all organizational policies and procedures diligently.
  • Foster a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, along with a High School Diploma or GED.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

Familiarity with systems such as Bosch, Brivo, DMP, Diebold, Hamilton, Skilcraft, Ademco, CCTV, and NCR ATMs.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Proficient in troubleshooting, adept in the use of hand tools, and possessing strong customer service skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to navigate stairs, lift items up to 75 lbs, work in various weather conditions, bend or crouch to access machinery, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and utilize various cleaning agents.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

This position reports directly to the Service Manager.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS:

This role is classified as non-exempt.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with a rotating on-call schedule. Flexibility is essential to meet customer service needs.
