Aquatic Educator

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an Aquatic Educator to join our team at Northern Kentucky University. The successful candidate will teach people of all ages the importance of water safety and how to swim in a proper manner.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide quality instruction for group and private swim lesson programs.
  • Knowledge of teaching methods and course requirements outlined by the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program.
  • Keep records of students and classes taught, and report certifications to the Coordinator of Aquatics.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 1 year teaching swim lessons or team teaching with another experienced instructor for at least 2-4 sessions.
  • Water Safety Instructor certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Lifeguard certification.
