Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Supervisor to join our team at Stryten Energy. As a key member of our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as developing and implementing effective EHS programs to prevent hazards and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS programs to meet regulatory compliance and company goals.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and develop corrective actions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors to review and improve EHS practices and ensure employee adoption.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, regulations, and reporting in manufacturing.
- Perform hazardous risk assessments and develop risk prevention plans to mitigate potential hazards.
- Review and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain analytical reports and data tracking.
- Represent the company in a positive working relationship with regulatory agencies and property insurance representatives.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Safety Science preferred.
- 1+ year EHS consulting or facility EHS management experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
- OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification preferred.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO14001, EHS laws and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, and twisting as necessary.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as outlined in established policy.
- Will be exposed to extreme environmental conditions.
