Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams in the US and Asia to plan, execute, and launch new consumer electronics accessories. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and milestones.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (ID, development, design, marketing, sales, product, and operations) to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and changes.
    • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external partners/vendors in the US and Asia.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Resource Management
    • Allocate and manage project resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization and avoiding resource conflicts.
    • Work with team leads to balance workloads and ensure project deadlines are met.
    • Host weekly project update meetings with teams in the US and Asia to review progress, address issues, and align on next steps.
  • Documentation, Reporting, and Sample Management
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes.
    • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Use Asana and MS Project to keep track of deliverables, timelines, and project milestones.
    • Oversee the management and coordination of product samples, ensuring timely delivery and feedback.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure samples meet design and quality standards.
    • Track sample status and manage the documentation and distribution of samples.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
    • Utilize the PLC (Product Life Cycle) process to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency in product development and management.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate relevant methodologies to enhance project efficiency.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the consumer electronics or technology industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software, specifically Asana and MS Project.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience working with international teams, particularly in the US and Asia.
    • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

    Compensation

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location where this position will be performed.
