Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, administrative support, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Check-in and Check-out: Efficiently process patient check-ins, check-outs, and invoicing to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting clients, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and communicate effectively with doctors, staff, and clients.
- Administrative Support: Handle incoming and outgoing mail, update and file patient charts, and enter data into our computerized billing program.
- Prescription Retrieval: Retrieve prescriptions and assist with pet supply purchases, including food, supplements, and grooming items.
- Waiting Room Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our waiting room to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for our clients.
- Retail Sales: Assist with retail sales, including pet food, supplies, and other products.
- Education: High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for our clients.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in computerized billing programs and other administrative software.
- Team Orientation: A team-oriented approach, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with doctors, staff, and clients.
- Experience: One to two years of experience in the field of veterinary medicine.
