Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the delivery of radiation therapy to patients.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Management

  • Administer radiation treatment according to department policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Dosimetry calculations and radiation treatment parameters.
  • Safely operate Linear Accelerators and demonstrate ability to treat using record and verify systems.
  • Measure electron block outputs and construct accurate patient blocking materials.
  • Apply and treat with the SDX machine, if required.

Event Participation and Coordination

  • Participate in Cancer Center sponsored community health screenings and events.

Compliance/Safety

  • Report any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool.
  • Attend all safety-related training programs and perform work in a safe manner.
  • Monitor work environment for possible safety issues and ensure others are also performing work in a safe manner.
Requirements

Education

  • Graduate from an ARRT certified program.

Certification & Licensures

  • Registered by Arizona State ADHS or Arizona Radiation Therapist License.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist, or new graduates welcome.
