Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Analyst to join our team at Citigroup Inc. This role is responsible for overseeing surveillance services to detect behaviors that may violate regulatory rules or internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze surveillance and trading activity data to identify potential risks and escalate issues to designated supervisors or managers.
  • Develop, maintain, and perform surveillance reviews and reports as necessary.
  • Provide troubleshooting support on various projects, including ad-hoc projects and regulatory exams, to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Monitor adherence to ICRM's risk policies and procedures and stay up-to-date on changes to regulations and policies.
  • Assist with editing and maintaining ICRM program-related materials and collaborate with other areas within Citi to provide best-in-class surveillance support.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and other team members.
  • Assume leadership roles within the team and assist in training and mentoring new team members.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in compliance risk management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
  • General understanding of securities trading and corresponding regulations.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgment and autonomy.
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
