Position Overview:


The Event Ticketing Associate role serves as a crucial point of contact between guests and the venue, primarily during the initial phases of events and in between scheduled activities.

This interaction is facilitated through a range of responsibilities designed to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Although the Event Ticketing Associate may often remain in a fixed location, they are a prominent and easily recognizable resource for all attendees.

The role aims to consistently foster a secure and inviting atmosphere under all circumstances.

The primary functions of the Event Ticketing Associate may include, but are not limited to:
ticket distribution/scanning, cash handling, telephone communication, and additional tasks as required.

The Event Ticketing Associate must possess a solid understanding of standard venue configurations, operational protocols, and upcoming events.

This position represents the venue, the organization, clients, and themselves, and is tasked with delivering outstanding guest services.

This role offers an hourly wage starting at $16.00.

Part-time benefits include a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.

Additionally, part-time, seasonal, and internship employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours annually.



Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a vigilant awareness of surroundings and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Communicate effectively, both verbally and non-verbally, with all relevant parties.

Exceed guest expectations by delivering OVG standards.

Assist in fully resolving guest inquiries and concerns consistently.

Maintain a positive attitude and contribute as a valuable member of the OVG team.

Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality.

Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written.

Must be capable of sitting for extended periods.

Able to perform routine physical activities (e.g., walking, crouching, climbing stairs, lifting over 10 lbs, assisting individuals with mobility needs).

Competent in utilizing current technology.

Capable of performing basic visual and auditory tasks.

Able to reliably function in diverse environments and conditions (e.g., temperature fluctuations, varying lighting and sound levels, air quality differences, weather changes).

Dependable participation in assigned or selected shifts.

Availability to work during daytime, evening, weekend, or holiday hours as needed.
