Role Summary

The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service activities. Responsibilities include monitoring food temperatures, maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area, preparing and serving meals, restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and processing payments through a computerized register. Adherence to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards is essential. This position requires excellent customer service skills and effective communication with patrons and team members.

Maintaining quality control standards is crucial. The role may involve operating various kitchen equipment, including grills, beverage dispensers, cash registers, and dishwashers. Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work independently when needed and possess a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Physical stamina is required, as the role involves being on one's feet for extended periods and walking significant distances.

Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, and food service is advantageous. Candidates should be able to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions, as well as perform basic mathematical calculations. On-the-job training will be provided.

Depending on the location, obtaining Serv Safe certification within a specified timeframe may be required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may also be necessary based on location-specific requirements.
