Barge Safety and Efficiency Coordinator Job Summary

Vitus Energy LLC is seeking an experienced Tankerman to join our team as a Barge Safety and Efficiency Coordinator. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our barges, as well as maintaining accurate records of product transfers and inventory levels.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a Merchant Mariner's Document with PIC endorsement TANK-PIC (BARGE-DL), TANK-ASST (DL). They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of barges to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve barge efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of product transfers and inventory levels.
