Position Overview:

In this capacity, you will spearhead the architecture, execution, and upkeep of geospatial system frameworks, employing leading industry methodologies. Your responsibilities will include formulating hardware specifications, crafting design strategies, and producing comprehensive documentation and plans. Furthermore, you will facilitate the planning, design, and deployment of enterprise GIS solutions, which encompasses requirements gathering, data evaluation, modeling, testing, and rollout.

You will collaborate with Agency IT leaders to guarantee that systems and solutions are crafted in alignment with organizational policies and conform to enterprise objectives. A profound understanding of the ESRI Enterprise platform is crucial. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the capability to engage with various subject matter experts.

Clearance: None Required

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in designing intricate architectures and applications.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience with geospatial systems.
  • Experience in IT architecture, including documentation, configuration management, and version control.
  • Familiarity with modern continuous integration / continuous delivery / continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Educational Background:

  • A Master's Degree or higher (or a Bachelor's degree accompanied by two additional years of experience) in Geography, Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
