Position Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is actively seeking qualified Cardiovascular Technologists (CVT) to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our healthcare initiatives, where you will be a vital part of the medical team.

Work Schedule

Availability is required around the clock, including holidays, with a commitment to participate in call coverage for at least two weeks each month. The standard work schedule consists of an 8-hour shift totaling 40 hours per week, with specific availability from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary assistant to the Cardiologist during various cardiovascular procedures.
  • Conduct a variety of diagnostic tests and support tasks, including blood sample collection for analysis.
  • Utilize radiologic fluoroscopy equipment to assist the medical team in visualizing images during procedures.
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, identifying any abnormal or life-threatening conditions.
  • Perform additional monitoring tasks such as oximetry and blood pressure assessments.
  • Engage in patient care activities, including dressing applications and specimen collection.
  • Prepare and manage necessary equipment and supplies for procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
  • Set up and calibrate various medical devices and systems to ensure operational readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, collaborating with physicians to review test results.
  • Recognize and address the psychosocial needs of patients and their families, providing clear explanations of procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program or Certified Radiologic Technologist Program is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hospital experience is necessary.
  • Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist is mandatory.
  • Current state licensure is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is essential; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach overhead during the work shift.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to waist and carrying up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
  • Must be able to push or pull with a force of 30 lbs.
