Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Adventist Health Sierra Vista, a 162-bed acute care facility. As a Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Unit Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the cardiovascular unit, with a focus on post-coronary intervention and open heart patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing excellent observation and critical thinking skills
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and transitions
  • Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel, utilizing interpersonal and organizational skills

Requirements:

  • Current CA RN License
  • Current BLS Certificate
  • Current ACLS Certificate (New Grad RN must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course
  • 6-months of cardiac step-down or telemetry experience in last 2 years
  • Completion of Critical Care Course
