Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Adventist Health Sierra Vista, a 162-bed acute care facility. As a Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Unit Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the cardiovascular unit, with a focus on post-coronary intervention and open heart patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing excellent observation and critical thinking skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and transitions
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel, utilizing interpersonal and organizational skills
Requirements:
- Current CA RN License
- Current BLS Certificate
- Current ACLS Certificate (New Grad RN must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course
- 6-months of cardiac step-down or telemetry experience in last 2 years
- Completion of Critical Care Course
