Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a skilled and experienced piano instructor to join our team as a full-time educator at our music school in San Jose, CA.
We are looking for a teacher who will provide high-quality instruction to our students, with a focus on building their musical skills and confidence.
This position requires a minimum of 30 hours of teaching per week, and we offer a competitive hourly rate of $45-50 per hour.
As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for health, vision, and dental benefits, as well as a 401(K) program with employer matching after 90 days on the job.
Responsibilities- Teach piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of our students
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administrators
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in music or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong musical skills and knowledge of piano pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- MTAC membership and/or Certificate of Merit experience
- Experience working with young musicians and developing their musical skills
