We are seeking a skilled and experienced piano instructor to join our team at Pacific Piano School in San Jose, CA. As a part-time instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach students of all ages and skill levels, and contribute to the growth and development of our music program.
Responsibilities- Teach piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to individual student needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Strong music background, evidenced by a degree in piano performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience
- Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians
- Robust appreciation for punctuality and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a routine background check
- MTAC membership and/or Certificate of Merit experience preferred
- Competitive hourly rate of $40-48/hour for private lessons
- A 401(K) program with employer matching available to all employees after 90 days on the job
