Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our I-RISE Mercer County Regional Office. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of resettling refugees, including pre-arrival planning, core services, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead job readiness and job development initiatives, building partnerships with local employers to facilitate self-sufficiency goals for our clients.
  • Conduct community outreach and partnership initiatives to support I-RISE refugee clients, including volunteer outreach and coordination.
  • Provide high-quality case management services for all arriving refugees, in coordination with the Director of Case Management.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless and coordinated efforts and services to support refugees.
  • Coordinate program components, including service, data collection, and reporting for all I-RISE-funded refugee assistance programs.
  • Ensure all volunteers are compliant with the Safe Agency Policy.
  • Serve as the local public face of the agency, interacting with volunteers, coalition members, and the public, to positively enhance the organization's mission.
Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a college degree in public administration, social work, or equivalent work experience. At least two years' experience working in a non-profit or government social service or job development agency is required. Experience working with community and business partners in Mercer County is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as is the ability to multi-task and creatively problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
